I helped set up this company from its beginnings. My first Job was to advertise the company, Designing flyers with catchy slogans and distributing them across town. Primarily I was in charge of the phones, but when it was quiet I was trained up as a radio base operator, and was soon running the phones and base radio unassisted. As the company increased and became more popular it was necessary to employ more telephonists to help with the demand of calls. I was put in charge of them and training them up on all areas of the office. I had to create the best work timetable for them and decide who was suited better to what tasks. I also had ensure that the office ran smoothly and deal with any customer complaints and enquiries
