How much money does Harley Davidson owe the Hell's Angels?

Much of the success of Harley is due to people who want to get a piece of the outlaw motorcycle gang image. White collar guys who ride Harleys on weekends, imagining that they are a bad-*** biker. None of this would exist without the Hell's Angels. Harley owes them, big time.

To comporto: I don't completely understand your response, but I take it you are not a fan of Harleys? I have no real opinion about them. I guess I'd like to have one though. I'm a white collar guy who would like to have some of that bad-azzz biker thing going. Do chicks go for bikers?
Only biker chicks? The life of the outlaw biker seems pretty good to me. The open road, the freedom, the drugs, the biker women.

I'd think a 6 pack and a free trip to the methadone clinic would suffice. I mean, what marketing genius said, "Hey I know, lets market this crappy product to rich white collar guys. That way we can raise the prices through the roof, not have to change the ancient technology, and still be able to cover the health and pension plans of our overweight, underskilled labor. Given, we'll still get about 50% of our parts from overseas, but what wannabe biker outlaw is going to care?"
