Why are we being punished for God's mistake? Hear me out before you answer...? |
The fruit gave us knowledge of good and evil... so before we ate of the fruit, we were ignorant to the fact that eating it was wrong. Yes "God" said not to, but how did we know that listening to him was the right thing to do? And why did he let an ignorant creature go up against an angel (Lucifer)? We didn't have the knowledge to make that decision. But assuming that is irrelevant, since we made that mistake, and we were created in "his" image, does that mean he is also prone to making mistakes? And since we weren't perfect, God didn't create a perfect being, which would mean he's not perfect... correct? I'm getting alot of great answers... but there's still some things that aren't answered. Like why did "He" let an ignorant being go up against an angel? And it'd also be nice to know what happened to the millions of people that died before Jesus. In the first place, it was our mistake that we did not pay any heed to His advice. By giving that advice, He made us aware of the fact that He was in a position to give advice and we would be better off to follow that. I think it was a game anyway. We're just Barbie dolls i figure if you zig-zag everywhere you go, the lightening might miss you, but i doubt it. good luck! We are a fungus...if you could look at us through a microscope you would see an infestation not unlike mold on cheese spreading rampantly! Its this simple.... If you believe the Bible, God is the only Perfect being. Jesus had many, many chances to sin while here but did not. The gratification was not worth going against His Father. God gave people "free will." That means that we are free to think and do as we please and He wants us to follow Him. we arent being punished. Its not gods mistake either. Adam and Eve were told not eat from the fruit...as creator god knew what was best for his creation...they should have trusted him and shouldnt have gone into temptation...its like father and son...when little the kid is ignorant to many things, the dad knowing more and being more experienced knows whats better for his kid...just cause the kid was ignorant and did something wrong, after being told not to, its not the fathers fault. And were not paying for gods mistake we're paying for adams and eves mistkake. No God is a perfect being. I think he put the fruit down here to give us the choice to follow him or not to. We know that listening to him was the right thing to do because he had done nothing else wrong that would lead us to believe that it wasnt the right thing to do. Both of them knew that they were not supposed to eat the fruit, but they did it anyway. That was the only real rule. No, he made us in his image. He offered perfection in the beinning and we threw it away. But, even after we betrayed him he sent down his son to get us back, because he loves us enough to where he would sacrifice his sons blood. You might try talking to a pastor if you need more guidence, that is what he/she is there for. In the eyes of god he knows no one is perfect and that including him. He makes his mistakes and he ask for his forgiveness...so no matter how mest up we are! all you have to do is ask him for your forgiveness...and he will grand it to you. He knows from time to time we will make misstakes. And for the fruit his not his falt...i think he told adam and eve not to eat the fruit and one did'nt lesson. So god is not to bleme Ok, when you were young and your mom or dad told you don't touch the stove it's hot. You were ignorant to the fact it was hot but say someone older than you said touch it it won't hurt you, and you touched it. The out come, you got burned. Was that your parents fault? You see we have free will, and God lets us exercise our free will. Now adam and Eve could've just listened just like children can just listen to their parents. God makes no mistakes, man was perfect till they disobeyed God and were kicked out of the garden of Eden. And exactly what do you want to know about those who died before Jesus was born? |
