If you had a truly solid invention and a provisional patent, how do you find investors who can seed cap $278K?

I am an inventor with a background in marketing. I have been in RnD for over 4 years and am poised for roll out with a new product development. This is a variation on existing technology, highly specialized for the beverage industry.

Roll out can be accomplished for less than $300K. I have sold two of my homes and 4 vehicles to fund RnD. I will need capital to properly roll this out.

I know angel investors exist...I just dont have great contacts in fund raising, I typically fund my own projects.

I would be interested in any ideas on where these aggressive investors with vision can be found.

They say when you have something this promising, you won't look for funding long, because investors are looking for you. I hope this question will answer several questions.

Best wishes.

You may want to go and pitch your ideas where investors gather. Here are some places where angel investors come and those looking for funding can come and pitch their business plans. Be sure to have a strong business plan and describe what makes your business idea stand apart:

Angel Capital Association http://www.angelcapitalassociation.org
Angel's Forum http://www.angelsforum.com
Band of Angels http://www.bandangels.com
Common Angels http://www.commonangels.com
Keiretsu Forum http://www.k4forum.com
Launchpad Venture Group http://www.launchpadventuregroup.com
New World Angels http://www.newworldangels.com
New York Angels http://www.newyorkangels.com
Prairie Angels http://www.prairieangels.org (charges $125 to submit idea)
Robin Hood Ventures http://www.robinhoodventures.com (charges $250)

I consult with Entrepreneurs who need access to funding. I have a network of Angels and ready access to many of the top venture capital firms.

I am located in southern California.

Any business that I would raise money for I would personally invest in myself.

We (my partner and I) have just sold off interests two businesses in the last year, so we are looking for another project to invest in.

I will send you my proper email address if you reply to thewhytehouse@yahoo.com
