My question if u get saved once do u have to get saved again if u backslide or is it once saved always saved?

i got saved when i was 28 and was doing good but hooked up with the wrong people and fell of the wagon. so does that mean i am no longer saved and that i need to get resaved or i just need to rededicate my self b/c i no longer hang with those people and do those things but i'm no angel either. i believe in GOD and love him 4 life i'm just cofused on the saved part is it once u except u r in the front door of heaven u just hv to change ur ways right please help

You were saved the moment Jesus died on the cross for your sins. Nobody is perfect, you mess up and go back to God and say you're sorry and you'll try very hard not to do it again.

Just change your ways, tell God you're sorry, and don't go back.

Just repent and ask for forgiveness. You know the phrase...we all fall short of the glory of God...it's there for a reason.God knows your heart and if its good he knows that no matter how you mess up. Try to live your life right the best you can. You don't have to be a Jesur Jr. to get into heaven.
