Career Advice for Modeling?!?

I want to pursue a modeling career. I have the body and they style for it, but particularly i want to become a Victoria Secret Angel and a Playmate. Any advice for pursuing these careers? Greatly Appreciated.

Do you live in a Big town ? Or a medium city ?
Lets Start with if your a young teen your the right age to start, they want to use you for as many years as they can get out of you !

If you a city with an agency call and ask them when is their open call day.
And I dont mean John Casablancas, pay a lot for their pictures.
Let the receptioinist and or booker that you want to use one of their best test photographers.
Test to see if you even photograph in front of the camera at all.

Its best to have pictures even before going in, that way you can pick the best ones and not let them see a bunch of bad or mediocre shots.

Get a leather portfolio and get your full size prints in them
Plan on paying about a hundred dollars a roll of film and paying for someone who does hair and make up
you can even ask for someone to style you thell bring all the clothes and you wont have to bring anything but your self

If your on a budget go out with a friend and takes some pictures with some differrent looks. Sit down and think about where you want the pics and what clothes and look your trying to go for.

I never had someone to take pics so I went the pay route.

The only place to pursue a real modeling career is in Los Angeles or New York, South Beach Miami during season.

And Europe during their season, Milan is the best place for tear sheets and developing a professional book.

I know people MEN who went but there Modeling is really a womens market. Be prepared to be flexible depending on the kind of work.
You should take some walking classes poise, and ramp.
As well as commercial classes.

Be prepared for rejection or to be told to lose or gain weight, do or not do something with your hair,

You need to have good teeth and bone structure, start small and get some pics.
Remember if an agent ask you for Money they ar not legitimate.

You will have to pay for your own pics developing and zed card.
And be prepared to change that as your look changes, Unless an agency is so sure their going to make money off you you will pay for these kind of expenses,
Ifyour 14 15 16 even17 go to your go see's interviews with your Mom Good Luck to you and dont forget to save some $ because looks dont last for ever, The industry goes through people very quickly
