Funding stage refers to startup businesses that are in the early stages of developing their business by seeking out and obtaining money/ capital to start.

Angel refers to a person or group willing to contribute their resources to help the business start up. Just imagine an angel...what type of hope, prosperity, and/ or joy comes when one appears. The angel is your daddy warbucks!

Seed refers to the money/ capital the Angel or yourself provides to start up the business. Just think of a farmer planting - the field is the world - where does the farmer buy seeds? What does the farmer use to cultivate the seed and soil - where did the farmer get the money to do that? It can come from himself or from a bank...
