Grand Opening Ideas for New Age shop?

A friend has opened a New Age Store.
Stocking Angels, Fairies, Buddhas, Native
American statues. As well as Angel Tarot cards, jewllery, and salt lamps, Insencene, soaps.
I think many people think it is a Chrisitan Shop has she named it 'Divine Inspirations'.
We have had lots of people buying crystals and incense, But we want to have a launch that lets the community know that we are there and a cool gift shop with Dragons and stuff for everybody. But what are some ideas for drawing people in for a look, that might not be aware we are open. We can't afford newspaper or TV adverts.

Print up some fliers on your puter and hang them up at stores that alow them that usualy works till word of mouth picks up.

Send out postcards with coupons, mailing service company can provide you the addresses in your local area.

have local schools or unity/religious science churches in your area participate in a fundraising day/night. they will advertise to their respective audiences (the schools through the PTA to the parents, and the unity/religious science churches to their congregation) and return on that given night donate 5% (or whatever figure you choose) of the gross sales to that organization. good luck.

The kind of a products ur selling is not for masses u must understand ur target customers which may lie in upper middle class or higher classes. so u must identify these kind of people & launch ur campaign & make them aware of ur products

Advertise on Craig's list. It's absolutely free! Also, if there are any schools for yoga/massage/holistic healing nearby perhaps they will allow you to post a sign for the store. Those are the types of people you will want to target. Any colleges/universities as well. Advertise that there will be door prizes on a special day. Also, it would be great if you could have a tarot reader/palm reader or chair massage therapist there for a special grand opening.
