Can anyone tell me about the angel investors ?

They are wealthy individuals who look into funding new and existing ventures. The key word here is 'individual', not a firm operating.

Angel investors are individuals who step in to help a fledgling business or inventor with a legitimate business plan but without the resources to make this happen. Angel investors are typically looking for a quick turnaround on their investment: 2 years or less.

Very commonly, angel investors take a business plan from the conception stage to the venture capital stage, if more resources are needed.

Additionally, a single angel investor may be involved in many projects at once, as the typical number of businesses which ever turn a profit is around 5%. However, the financial windfalls when a profit is turned can be huge.
