As a work at home mum, how can i find a business angel to invest in my business? |
to enable me to stay at home with my baby whilst working as well, does anyone have any ideas of how i can find and meet a business angel who will invest and support my business? I dont mind if the person has a hands on or not, as long as they know about the trade and the market as well as how businesses are run. I appreciate the replies so far and will be checking out the links you've offered. I must state though that i'm already an established business and only want a business angel that is familiar in my trade so they can appreciate the things i've done and still do. Im not looking for other wah people to recruit me or give me business tips but an injection of cash to keep my business thriving at competitive. Also it may be important to say that i am in the uk and angels from other countries would not be beneficial to what i do. Thanks again for replies!!! Business 2.0 magazine http://money.cnn.com/2006/02/28/magazine... has a very good article on angel investors, what they typically look for, what kind of investments they support, etc. They will not invest in your business simply to allow you to work at home and be with your baby, but because you have a highly marketable business idea where they can earn money. |
