I have invented/patented something of staggering value. How do I find an angel investor for manufacturing?

I am an American living in Thailand; I have invented/patented a consumer product line with a massive consumer base and zero competition internationally. I do not want to sell my patent rites. I wish to expand my start-up company and manufacture/direct market to department stores internationally. How do I find an angel investor. barybuckley@yahoo.com

You may want to go and pitch your ideas where investors gather. Here are some places where angel investors come and those looking for funding can come and pitch their business plans. Be sure to have a strong business plan and describe what makes your business idea stand apart:

TRY A NEW SCAM. THAT ONE IS OLD AND TIRED.

You could see about coming back to america and getting a government grant and some loans from a bank.

I can tell you what NOT to do..... Don't call the 1-800 copy write # on TV... all they do is steal ideas!

Seeing that your idea is already patented, you have 2 options: (1) Small Business Administration (SBA in the US) maybe known as some sort of incubators in other countries or (2) you can talk to any VC. SBA or Incubators are government agencies and they can provide you with loans as well as research materials and services. VC's, if large enough, have offices worldwide. When talking to one, presentation is the most important thing, so going through a business plan document process would be advisable. If they like your idea, depending on the amount of grant you get, they'll assign experts to help you with the business end of things as well.
