Where can i find a Private Investor/Business Angel......?

I have developed a unique internet idea, which has got huge potential and a wide audience.
I have had interest from national brands who would be interested in sponsoring the project once it has been set up and established for a while, but to get to that stage i need to find an investor.
I am not keen on joining a business angel company as you have to give specific details of the project-which is then open for all their members to view, which i cannot do as it cannot be patented.

I would be very grateful for any advice, or if anyone could point me in the direction of someone who could help.
