I am looking for angel investors for my trucking business?

i am looking for angel investors to help with my trucking business.i have tried banks and other programs none of them are interested in trucking business. i got ripped off by gcr business capital in safety harbor fla. the ask for a deposit of 12000 dollars and the would finance my equipment, they even said i was approved for 3 million dollars for my trucking business ,i sent them the money now they say i was not approved and will not give me back my money, i need a privite investors who is willing to meet me in person,

There is an entire industry of Angel Investors out there. Go on line and type angel investors. There is also a trade organization that some of them belong to. Just as always be careful of who you work with. I always tell my clients to interview the firm you choose just you would any one you are going to do business with. Make sure they have your same values and same ideas about your business. Make sure you have a completed business plan to present or one that is close to finish so they have an idea of your project.
Do not work with anyone over the phone or the internet. As you said make sure you meet face to face. I meet with all of my clients prior to financing their needs or sending them to others. I also require people I send my clients to, to meet with these clients face to face. You have the right to demand that.
