What is your investment of choice, and why? |
More specifically, for a longer term investment to increase capital, would you go with stocks, bonds, or real estate? Your own small business? Or a weekend in Vegas? Stocks- growth A mixture of stocks and bonds. I'm a big fan of exchange traded funds, especially for beginning investors. Reasons? 1) no sales loads, 2) instant diversification, 3) low management fees, 4) liquid. I go with 95% stocks, and 5% high-yield bonds. What i DO do, however, is mix my stocks between conservative plays (non-cyclicalts like PG/ real estate like RAS) and riskier investments like small-cap energy (like UPL), etc. |
