Savings bonds and rising interest rates, a good investment? |
If interest rates rise rapidly, how do savings bonds do for savings in those times? What about T-Bills? What about if the market declines substantially? Are bonds a good place to be savings wise? Interest rates increase, prices of bonds decrease. I Bonds have built in inflation protection. BEWARE OF ANYONE SUGGESTING THAT 15% IS LOW RISK. LOW RISK IN TODAY's INVIORMENT = 4% - 5%. |
