If I have $150,000 dollars. What is the best investment I can make? |
Should I settle mortgage debt, invest in my small business, or invest in mutual funds or do all three I would said settle your debt and start to invest in unit trust. Let's be mutual friends and share it with me. lol Well there are a few different answers depending on the situation. First if you have a variable rate mortgage such as an arm then I would suggest settling your mortgage debt due to huge increases in interest which will effect your monthly mortgage payment by a huge increase. If you have a fixed interest rate I would suggest maybe half in mutual funds and half in your small business. It is less risky to divide your money. Investing it all in a small business can be very risky. Word to the wise it is progected that stocks for the first quarter and possibly second quarter will be going down and will be extrememly risky fo rinvesting. You can look into investing in the european market. Hope this helps! 10% OR $15K to your favorite charity or charities - including your churcjh, temple or mosque.. Better put your money in Belarusian bank. real estate. Even though though real estate market is not so good these days, but it'll get better. You can buy a foreclosure propertie lets say around $120k and then sell it at $250 or so.. Definitely all 3, but put the smallest amount towards your mortgage (because of the tax benefits). To find out what to invest in just check out the best investors at http://www.top10traders.com - it is a free site. Good luck. The best investment that you can make by far is to spend a few dollars of it on a good, professional financial advisor. That's a lot of money. Before you listen to any suggestions on this website, remember that there is no requirement that anyone here be knowledgeable before giving an answer. We can tell you anything. (Note the suggestion about Belarussian investments as an example of the nonsense that commonly gets posted here. 30% returns with low risk from someone with a Russian e-mail address? If you believe that, I have some oceanfront property in Nebraska that I'll sell you.) Get a calculator and figure it out. If you settle your debt, how much will it save you. Do you expect to get better results by investing in the business or mutual funds. Whichever of the three gives the best expected result. If you don't have a IRA or 401-K invest in a Roth IRA.
