How can I find BUSINESSES having lawsuits, judgments and liens filed against them? Is there a website or???

I'm looking for businesses with NON CURRENT PROBLEM DEBT: Credit Cards, Medical Bills, Old Past Due Payables, Bills with Suppliers, Lawsuits, Judgments, Liens, I.R.S problems... etc.

I know about going to the local court house, but I have heard that there is a certain "newspaper" one can obtain which shows ALL the businesses within your local area that has judgments and Liens filed against them (being that it is PUBLIC RECORD).

I also thought that there would or should be a website one could to in order to obtain the information but have not been able to find such a website.

If someone can help me find the answer to my question I PROMISE to pay them a 5% fee of any and all clients I receive for a month time frame due to them providing me with a reliable source/information and I am DEAD SERIOUS!

I don't believe that these types of things are maintained as a public record. The only time these would be listed in a newspaper would be as result of a default judgment (maybe there are some others). But if you want a comprehensive list, there is no other way than going to the state office. All liens and other types of secured transactions are governed by Title 9 of the Uniform Commercial Code (UCC). This requires that these transactions be filed with the Secretary of State in which the transaction occurs (there are particular laws surrounding the location of the filing). Since this is the only place that filings must occur, there is no other way to get this information other than through the Sec. of State in each state. Some states may have automated systems, but it is certainly not universal. Maintaining an individual database of this type would be virtually impossible since filings are made and expire constantly. If you want to enter into this field you need to become more familiar with title 9 and secured transactions law.
