Will XM and or SIRIUS just go out of business? |
I am wondering with high debt load they are failing to turn a profit and have expensive content I wonder how long until we see the NO SIGNAL or XM NOT AVABILE on the screens of our receivers. They may have to declare bankruptcy and restructure or cut back drastically on their content or something. I think they way over spent and are paying for it now. Still, this service is better than traditional radio to many people and many people are will to pay extra for it. So, I think it will eventually come back and there will be satallite radio companies out there - but this will take awhile for all the current excesses to run through the system. I would bet that eventually the service will morph into something else. People will stop using it in an economic downturn. Current generation seems content with plugging in the IPOD into the car stereo and programming the listening without paying out monthly dues. contact nitron circle of experts |
