Does anyone get sick of Dave Ramsey on the Fox Business channel use the phrase...?

better than I deserve, when asked how he is. I have determined he is so self absorbed as Suze Orman. Also I love when someone calls in and says they are about to get behind on 3 mortgages totaling 600K. His response...I was there once with a few more zeros. Ok, sure buddy. Good advice, but his throne gets old. And then his last 7 minutes of the show are praise King Dave letters! This is where debt is dumb, cash is king and the paid off home mortgage has replaced the BMW of the status symbol of choice. LOL

I like to watch and listen to Dave but I do agree that he is very self absorbed. The catch phrases are just good marketing. If Dave is anything, he is a great salesman.

I do get confused when he says he was a multi-millionaire though before he went broke. Did he really have multi-millions in equity? Or just millions in debt? If it's millions in debt you aren't a millionaire. I think he stretches that part a little bit.

Overall I think he does a good job of keeping peple focused on living within their means. You just have to look past his ego and his constant sales pitches for his "preferred" providers, Zandee insurance, and Royal Jelly.

Ramsey & Orman aren't self absorbed- sounds like you can't face the truth of good financial advice when you hear it!

Nope... I never get tired of hearing him say it. I love listening to his radio show every day. It helps keeps me on track in my journey through the baby steps.
