How did college get to be such a business?

if you wonder how things got to be so bad...just look at our institutions of higher learning. last week our dr. gave us a test. he then proceeded to quickly do a once over on everyones exam when they turned it in. he marked wrong the wrong ones, then sent us back to our seats to try again. he said it helps the learning process. he was my advisor. im in debt 60,000 for my college loans....and now i know i'm going to be competing with numbnuts for degreed jobs. ???

this was at one of the big ten universities.
