Anyone had any businesses with Credit Solutions of America in Texas? Is it a good company for debt settlement?

I wouldn't use them. Type "Credit Solutions of America" into a Google search. The first hit is their website, the rest are horror stories. I work for a large global bank, if we receive a cease and desist along with a power of attorney from any debt settlement company, we immediately send the account to our attorney network with the direction to try to obtain a judgment. I know of 3 major banks that will have nothing to do with them GE Money, Citi, and Bank of America. I know our legal team have sent letters requesting this company to stop accepting our customers, yet they continue to do so. By the way, they are not endorsed by NBC, in fact, I've heard that the lawyers have also sent them a letter to cease and desist using the NBC logo on their website. Anyway, you can settle accounts by yourself, why pay someone, and take the chance of getting sued. Good luck.

I do not have personal experience with this company, but a quick reference with the Better Business Bureau revealed that you might want to look into some other companies before you go with this one. Go to the bureau's website and type in Credit Solutions of America with Texas as the state....it brings up two companies, one with a P.O. box, but they are probably the same. From what I gathered, they don't have a very good record with the Bureau and have often claimed to be in "good standing" with the Bureau, of which they are not even a member, though they have also claimed that as well. A friend of mine uses Debt Solutions and he has had good results with them, though you are going to have to pay anyone to help with debt problems. Good luck!
