Tricky situation involving family and business- Help!?

I have stayed up to this one for now,but it has become I want to help my family.

My sister got out of a bad marriage jobless and penniless. Sine she was in danger of losing the house, my mom sold her house and assumed the payments on the house. She paid all my sister's and her ex's debt (about $80K) and used the remaining $200K to live on for 3 years while my sister trained to be a baker.

They agreed to form a business (My mom is already an exquisite master baker)

My mother is upset because my sister spends 80% of her time and energy during 9-5 business hours looking for dates and otherwise 'escaping' while my mother does all the baking . My mom is frustrated because sister has a 5 year old that also depends on them and she does not think sister is placing enough effort.

My mother does not want to leave because they have taken out loans against the house in my sister's name.

My mother has already tried to tell my sister what she wants but feels she is powerless. What to do?

This is a really tricky situation. I think maybe your mother is telling you these things, but deep down inside she thinks your sister needs this time to adjust to being single and probably having a mid life crisis to boot. I haven't heard anything about them mentioning some sort of plan, have they? You should really steer them towards your local SBA for more solid advice. Good luck!
