Newly engaged bf just asked me to pay off his debt should i do it? |
this debt is from a bad business deal and his last divorce its about 25k.i can pay it off but i feel its unfair for him to ask me since this happened all before he met me.men can u tell me would u ask your gf to pay off one of your debts? Dont do it . He may just be useing you. Dosent it sound fishy that he even asked you?. Please dont do it. no cos then he'll leave you after you do it Tell him you don't want to be with him till he pays off his debt. I wouldn't, but then I'm old fashioned, and believe that a man takes care of his own debts. If you were married, and he needed help, then it would be a different matter. RED FLAGS! RED FLAGS! You already have an issue about it or you wouldn't be asking. No, that would be a bad idea. I'd wait until you were married, that was if he doesnt contribute you can still take half of what he's worth. I've been close to getting married twice and trusted both to death, I'm just glad I never had something like that come up because we ended up breaking it off before marriage. Best of luck to you, but I wouldn't give him a silver dollar. No way, don't do it. He got into debt let him get out. NONONONONONONONONONONONONNOOOOOOOOOO! UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES!!!!!!!!!!! NO WAY NO WAY NO WAY! For Pete's sake, please do not, I repeat DO NOT give this guy any money! It is YOUR money and it is NOT you fault that he got himself into a mess with his last wife. Please don't do it. not your problem. i wouldn't marry him until it's cleared up, since his debt becomes your debt. make sure he's marrying you for love, not money. not saying he is, just be careful. it was before you were in the picture. SOUNDS LIKE A LOSER TO ME,IF YOU DO YOU IT ,YOUR JUST AS NUTS AS HIM. Thank him for asking this before you married him so you really know the kind of guy he is. Then DUMP him as fast as you can! Alot can happen between now and the wedding day. The wedding alone can cause enough stress sometimes to make you rethink things. I would wait until after you were married to him before paying off the debt. I wouldn't have asked my wife that before we were married. After we were married, we worked together and got things taken care of. If the debt is from the past....it'll still be there when you get married. Wait until you are married, then you two can work together to get your debts down. If he has any intention of really marrying you, he will understand. I'm not a very understanding guy sometimes, but if I asked that of a woman and she did it, I would worry about how easily dupped she could be in the future. I would never expect my fiance to say "OK" if I asked her that....or any other woman. Wait..... Hell to the naw! He'll dump you after you do and even if he didn't, you'll keep buying him in order for him to stay. A man is supposed to be able to provide; that way, you can admire him. Remember, love is 90% admiration and 10% perspiration. Don't get confused; get a winner. |
