Help with credit card debt? I have a situation.? |
I have about 25,000 in credit card debt, all of them under my business name. The business is no longer exist. The business is partnership. I can not pay for my credit cards anymore. i have been paying for them from my personal income but I can not do it anymore. What wil happen if I stop paying for it? Will that go on my personal credit report? Will they take me to court? You still need to find a way to pay for it. Otherwise, it will be very difficult to obtain credit again, whether personal or business. You must pay it or they will sue you and all of your partners will be sued for the business' debts. the banks will happily take payments from any partner, but all partners are jointly and severally liable for the entire amounts owed. file a chapter 13 bankcruptcy.. which calls for corporate bankcruptcy. get your partner to act and help you out. you have to pay for it or you and any of your partners will be sued..... Contact your partner/s and apprise them the situation. In your sitation,I would like to suggest you have a look here.http://debt-consolidation.featured-resou... If you are caught in the credit card debt trap, approach a debt consolidation company for help, instead of paying high rate of interest to your card issuer. Most of the debt consolidation companies provide loans to help you tide over the credit card debts. These loans are known as credit card debt consolidation loan. The advantage of this loan is that you are charged a low rate of interest. The difference between the interest charged on the credit card and the interest on the credit card debt consolidation loan is substantial, saving you quite a big sum of money. |
