Who is responsible for an old business debt. The business partner who left two months ago, or the business partner who is leaving two months from now? The business is an LLC. Chances are you both are if its old debti in terms of incurred prior to the first partner leaving. How is your LLC agreement written in terms of debt and liability as it relates to its partners?
