Am I personally liable for a business debt? |
I am wondering if I am personally liable for a business default on a lease, we were evicted for being behind on rent, and were sued, we have no money to pay so bankruptcy is possible, but I dont want to be personally bankrupt. WI law Yes you can. If you were a sole proprietor and not a cooperation or if you personally guaranteed the lease with your finances. (did they run your credit? by asking for your SS#) |
