What to say to debt collector that keeps calling my business (I'm not the one who owes)?

A debt collector keeps calling for the previous owner of my business. It is a completely seperate corporation (LLC) than hers, but the name of the business is the same.
The debt collector is from a business cash advance company (yikes, I didn't even know what these were!) and she is demanding to talk with the previous owner... who won't call her back despite my repeated messages for her to do so.
Anyway, the debt collector, the last time she called got very rude and demanded to talk to the "owner" and I said I was (Mind you, I thought she was trying to sell me something) and She said are you "Sara" and I said no. She asked where "Sara" was and I said that she no longer owns the business. The debt collector then got irate with me and demanded that I do something about it, which at that time I began playing stupid. Now, she called again today saying that by selling the business "Sara" breached her contract. What does this mean for me, and how do I tell her to "BUZZ OFF" of MY business

... I pretended I was just a worker today when she called, playing stupid again. She asked to talk to the manager, and I said she AKA, ME would be in tomorrow... what do I say when she calls?

Get her contact information next time she calls, and write a letter to the company telling them to cease all communication to your phone number - and that you're not the person they're trying to get in contact with.

When/if they continue to call, document it every single time. Date and time. I believe you can sue them for harassment for each and every violation to the FDCPA. Read more about that at the link below.

If you have the previous owner's phone number, give them that! Try to explain the situation again and if they are still getting huffy with you, ask to talk to their boss and tell them to stop calling because you are not the person they are looking for.

Tell her that you are not the same business as the former business, and say "this company has no obligations to the company that you work for, good bye."

tell her to take this phone number off her list of numbers to call.Once you tell her, she is not suppose to call you.

What she is doing is basically harassing you, and that is illegal.. Once you tell her to remove this number,if she calls again you can contact her company and make a formal complaint

Tell them they have the wrong number, it doesn't matter if that person USED to own your business, they don't now. They are supposed to stop calling when they are told that person is not there anymore. I don't know where you are, but where I am I know there is a law that requires that they not call again once they find out that the person they seek is not affiliated anymore. Threaten to sue them for harassment and anything you can think of. It is not your responsibility to provide them with information for anyone other than yourself. Tell him to do his own homework and that it's not your problem or your job. That's what I would do.

Maybe You should try to google it first ,however if you like some direct resource ,here might be helpful.http://debt-consolidation.featured-resou...
