I want to start my own business some day, will majoring in business be a good idea? |
I just don't want to work for anyone else, I really want to invest in real estate, maybe start my own business. Should I change my major to business or should I finish electrical engineering? I would recommend finishing your EE major, because one of the major skills required in business is the ability to stick to something and finish it off. Another good skill is the ability to do delay your gratification. And the ability to provide a service to people. I think an engineering background is great coz it helps you in problem solving ..an MBA could help you too later No! Take a course with a skill associated with it, e.g. engineering or finance. |
