Where is a good place to find someone that will invest money in my small business.?

I'm looking to start a video game store and I'm trying to find out where is the best place to find Investors (bank or other wise) this is to help off set the total cost not cover everything.

If you have a business plan and some credibility, your bank might help you out. You'll definitely need collateral and good credit. You should also ask family and friends to join your venture, if they're supportive they can help you limit labor costs for a while!

Family and friend first. Banks will not be willing to lend unless you have proven business experience and substantial equity.
