HOW DO I FIND INVESTERS TO INVEST IN MY START UP BUSINESS, I NEED $60,000 DOLLRS.?

I ALREADY HAVE A BUILDING AND STARTED REMODELLING, BUT I RAN OUT OF MONEY AND NEED 60,000 TO COMPLETE MY PROJECT AND OPEN FOR BUSINESS. YES, I HAVE ALREADY TRIED TO GET MONEY FROM SEVERAL BANKS AND HAVE BEEN TURNED DOWN BECAUSE OF MY NOT SO GOOD CREDIT. PLEASE HELP

One way is to research venture capitalist firms that specialize in lending money to people based on the nature of their start up business. Also, you could identify potential investors (People with disposable income) put together a small reception (wine & Cheese reception) and present a presentation about your business and how they will benefit in the long term by investing in your business now. These potential investors could be friends, family, former college professors (if applicable) or community leader and local business leaders. The best way to approach the people that you don't know such as the community and business leaders would be to send them a letter inviting them to a reception and follow up with phone calls, emails etc. basically bugging the heck out of them.
