How do I find someone to invest in my business idea?

Actually a good site for Investment Money .. Is www.prosper.com. I have used them to finance a home for a rental property.. I am sure that as long as you have a detailed Business Plan.. that there will be some interest from that site.

it is basically based on what type of business plan you bring to the table. it is a pain in the ace, laborious, and generally boring, but if you are looking for professional investment (ie. banks, investors) the figures must be on paper in a professional manner. it's common sense, really. now, if you are looking to do something 'less than legitimate,' you may be able to find funds without the formalities.

you can start by looking into venture capitalist, or equity funds.
