I am looking for information on how to get private investors to invest in my business?

i am interested in how to get other people & or private firms to invest in my small construction bussiness. if anyone has any information on this subject or how to go about this it would be very appreciated.

I am not sure how interested investors will be about your construction business enough to invest. But you can always try (afterall, the worst they can say to you is NO)

AUDITED Balance Sheets is the KEY !

If you don't have audited balance sheets, then your only choice is family members.
Do not waste time with investors if you don't have audited books. They will just drain you out and try to strip down/ tear up your company that you worked so long to establish.
