I would like to start a business...i can invest 1000000...what should i do?

Damnnnnnnn! I wish you were my business partner. It never ceases to amaze me how many people there are out there who have money but don't know what to do with it. Then you have the counter effect of those people out there who have a hundred good ideas floating around in their heads but no financial backing. But...if your hell bent on being a business owner, Good Luck! The general public is composed of @ssholes spattered with a few good eggs.

if you had a million dollars, i don't think yahoo answers is your most reliable source of ideas for investing.

The best at this point I can think about is that you should at least set aside a part of that amount into high value stocks so that if you suffer losses in whatever you do, the rise in value in those stocks compensate them.

Unless you stole the money, you must have done something to earn it. Generally your area of expertise is a good category to invest in.

When sensex goes down u invest in good stocks.That is the best way to make money.

i would not bother investing that amount you will only end up with a franchise just like the other 500 million people world wide you will end up stressed or just broke.
havea look at this its no outlay at all compared to 1 mill.
keep that in your bank and make on the interest you will be better off for it. work part time with no stock to buy andno staff to give you shait, its free to look as well .
