What do you exactly do if you are in business?

ok. well, studying business sounds interesting along with financing...that is what my mom keeps on telling me that i might like to study due to my interests..
but to tell you the truth, i don't really know whhat it means... what does it mean when you study to go to business? what do you do? do you have an office?
thank you very much for answering this! :)

Being "in business" today means anything you want it to be. Business is so diversified that you could be in accounting, Sales & marketing, operations, logistics, management computers, administration, human resources etc.

Going to school for business will provide learnings on general theories & practices of operating & running a business or a piece/department within it.

Keep in mind, that when one graduates you have to start some where, you will not be the chairman of microsoft a week after completing school.

You study how to run a business.. If you want to own one someday or be a manager or something.

You usually sell a product or provide a service that will benefit the people you serve and earn your living that way. A hardware store is one type of business that sells a product. And a lawyer is in the service business.

Business school will help you get so many different jobs. Accounting, administration, start you own business, Marketing products and more.
