What jobs pay well if you have B.S. in Applied Math - specializing in Business and Finance? |
I'm beginning a second bachelor's(Post-Bach). I'm getting the new B.S. in Applied Math. I am wanting to become an Actuary. But I if I change my mind, what other careers can I go into if my course work is mainly: upper division Statistics, Finance and Econ, and Calculus? I have a BS in Science with a minor in Business Finance. I have been in credit/collections and finance for 17 years and do quite well. I have opened my own business and had contracts pending before the doors even officially opened. My mother has the same degrees as me and she has been a Business Accountant for SBC Ameritech for 30 years as of this past April and is calculated at $168,000 annual for budgeting and assessing risk management for $31 billion every year. Stressful but awesome money. I dont make anywhere near that, last year I cleared $67,600 so that should give you a low to high range of income with that kind of degree. Good luck. accountants do well, CPAs, finance managers, expecially if you have some business sense |
