Unless you can get someone to back you, you're on your own. Depending on the type of business you're thinking about is the deciding factor to your needs.

If you are opening a "Resume Typing" or "Word Processing" business, of course, your expense would be in a computer and lots of paper.

On the other hand, if you are thinking of opening a retail merchandise store, your expenses would be much more complicated and of greater expense.

Sit and gather the information you think you'd need and the approximate cost and go from there. If you have collateral in something of value, the banks may extend you some monies for your business.
