Best way to obtain assistance in financing a women owned business? |
I want to open a restaurant and have a partner that has years of experience in the industry while my background is mostly accounting, etc. We have a turnkey operation setup in place to lease but need the upfront capital to start the business and get on our feet. I will own 51% of the company, placing the business in a minority status. My credit is "ok" and his is not too good at this time. Where is the best place for us to turn? talk to some banks and see what they suggest also do you have a business plan worked out because that could make all the difference in the world if you have a good business plan and have you done all of your research for the type of business and the location you are looking into. I don't know how much you need to get started, but try www.prosper.com. I've noticed several small businesses geting funded there. |
