If a law were pssed to forbid paying interest on investments or declaring stock dividends, what would happen to the supply of capital? What if interest and dividends were paid but they were subject to high taxes? Would thrifty people keep on depositing their money in banks or buying stock in industrial firms? If not, where would agriculture, commerce, and industry then obtain capital? pick me for best anwser |
