Best approach? Buying to let scenario?

I have 拢10,000. At some point in the next 3 years I want to put a deposit down on a 3-bed house in an area that will give me good capital appreciation but mostly return on investment as regards rent. I can only borrow 拢70K on my income. What is the best approach? I don't mind sharing with a good friend. Also thought of investing in a boom abroad or buying just a one-room place for 拢70,000. The aim is to get a good regular income source within a short time.

Houses are for couples to bring up their children. They are not intended for speculators and gamblers. Try the stock market or Ladbrokes.

yeah go on buy some rundown house, make it up ..n rent it
