Do hedge funds invest in public companies stocks only, or they invest in private companies stocks as well? |
Do hedges funds buy stocks only from public trading places such as NASDAQ and NYSE, or they also buy stocks from private companies, making them similar to venture capital investment? Sure they can. See, for example: http://www.altassets.net/features/arc/20... They can only buy stocks in publicly traded stock. Privately held stocks are not traded on an exchange. |
