If all my income comes from capital gains, do I have to pay capital gains tax and federal income tax? |
How does money made solely off investments usually work. If I made $10,000 in capital gains each year, would I have pay a capital gains tax in addition to federal income tax. Is that what investors have to do, get taxed twice? No, capital gains tax IS income tax on particular items. Judy is correct. |
