Investment Company in the US?

I would like to establish an investment subsidiary of a foreign firm here in the US with the sole purpose of investing in the real estate and capital markets. How do I register the company and run it in the most legal transparent manner in order not to violate money laundering laws. Relevant websites or agencies I can go to would be appreciated. Already visited SBA.com.

I am not real sure what you want to do. But from what I can understand try SEC-US securities and exchange commission.
