Cost of Capital?


Developing the cost of capital based on book values is suggested to be appropriate for corporate capital investment. Do you agree that different costs of capital should be used for these different purposes or should we agree on a single cost of capital for general application so that all evaluations will be consistent? Why do you think as you do?
