How long is it really considered polite to wait for an employer call back? |
I sent the company my resume, references and a follow-up email to ensure they have received all my information. I know i should probably give them about two weeks but I am getting to the point in my finances where I can't wait for an answer. What should I do? Should I wait or should I hedge my bets and keep going on interviews? My debts are piling up! Truthfully, they don't have to call you back unless they are interested in hiring you. You could always call after a week or so and thank them for the opportunity , and tell them you hope to hear from them but that's about it. Some employers get irritated when job seekers call too much. |
