I am looking for a service that will help me manage my month to month finances .credit counciling as well?

i am in debt with bad credit i have never been in a position to have to pay my own bills. i am a financial idiot. i have a good job and according to the numbers should be ok ., not sure what has happened

i don't know about a service but the microsoft money program is great at helping you manage month to month or week to week

I recommend you goto a book store. Ask to see their Money & Finance section, and you should find a GREAT book to help you with your exact problem.

I *would* recommend a financial management software like Quicken or MS Money, but that's more expensive than a book, and I don't want to recommend you spend more than $20 to get your financial life back on track.

You can do what I do, for free:
Journalize every expense you make each day for two months. Record every paycheck or source of income you receive in that month. This is the important part: spend less than you earn. If you spend more than you earn, cut things out, or look for another job (2nd job, or a new job).

Then there's the thing about cutting up all your c cards and paying off your debt, and all that.
