I have a Finance degree but I want to be a fashion designer, should I go back to school?

It is expensive fashion design school, i am already in student loan debt, how can I pursue this dream?

The fashion school cost 30,000 plus I have to move to LA? I live in Texas. I dont know anyone and I have no money. I will have to borrow the money in additional to already owing 15 grand.

I think you should go for it. After watching various friends and family pursue their dreams, the ones who seem most happy are the ones who do something they truly enjoy. And, it seems being good at it isn't necessarily mandatory. Life is too short to trudge through a career that you glean no satisfaction out of. And just think, you could always use your finance knowledge to start and manage your own fashion house. That might look pretty sharp to lenders afraid of doing a small business loan to such a creative and interprative enterprise. I think a finance degree can only help further you in this aspect. Student loans? Look, we're all going to have debt of some kind, at least in the end you will have something to show for it. You won't regret it.

Good Luck!

I live in Texas as well. Finance degree that is money anywhere why don't you get a job in that? If you want to be in LA though, go move to LA.
