HELP! need money fast please help!?

I was supposed to receive a refund check from my school by the end of the week. When I called my school today they informed me that they had just processed all the paperwork and I wouldn't receive it until probably around the end of next week. Classes start on monday and I have to move into my new apt. this saturday. However, without this check I have no money or rent, security deposit, food, or my mattress for my bed. To make matters worse, my mom just lost her job and has no extra money coming in so she cannot cover the finances I need. I need to find a solution quickly. I cannot take out a loan from my bank because I am a college student and have no/poor credit due to debt from loans. I also am not working because I live 3 hours away from my school and have a job lined up for the beginning of the semester. I need to come up with at least 1000 dollars to cover my security, rent, mattress and some food until I receive my check in a week. Does anyone know anything I can do?!?! PLEASE HE

Well there's a few things you can do as of now, the first is borrow money from another family member or friend and pay that person back as soon as you get the check from the college. The second option, although I don't know how much good it will do you if your financial aid and bursar takes as much time as mine is to go to the college and plead your case, again I am not sure how useful this will be to you. Third option is to try out a student loan, since your expenses are related to your education and based on your previous post you will be buying books as well with this money. Your fourth option is, if you have the available balance on a credit card, then go to your bank and get a cash advance done for that amount on the credit card, mind you that you will be charged for this based on whatever fee that credit card company charges for the advance. The fifth thing you can do is sell some of your things off, and this needs to be done in person and for cash since you'd most probably need it by tomorrow. Honestly, the first thing I'd try in your case is ask a friend or another family member for a loan and pay that person back as soon as you get the check from the college. If that is not an option then I would probably opt for the cash advance since it will give me the best chance of getting the money by tomorrow rather than selling which could take longer and also not reach the goal in which case I just sold some stuff I didn't want to sell and also just wasted some of my time. Now I said cash advance cause the security and the rent won't take credit card, the mattress and food most likely will take credtit card. Just remember that you will be charged a cash advance fee from your credit card company so take only what is absolutely necessary. Also you must have enough balance on the credit card to be able to take that much money out. Another thing is most, if not all banks, require you to be a customer of the bank in order to do the cash advance so go to your bank if you choose to do this. Best of luck.

I know you may think it beneath you, but many poor, young girls join date/chat sites like friendfinder or filipinaheart and beg men for the money.
They sometimes get it from an old rich codger who takes piry on them and if they offer sex talk, pics or live cam, they get a lot more money.
You can get mad if you like, but desperate times call for desperate measures.

I don't think there is any one thing you can do (aside from borrow the money). You'll probably need to do a few things, like:

Sell something worth something... through the classifieds or ebay.com.
Sell your plasma (hey, every dollar counts)
Participate in a medical study
Make arrangements to eat with family and friends for a while to save on food. Buy only really cheap things like ramen noodles and mac and cheese.

Call Check Into Cash (or similar) and find out if there is any way to get a loan through them.

Forget about the mattress, you'll live without it for now.
Security? Something you can put off for a while?
Discuss rent with your landlord- they may have a grace period. Possibly offer to pay a late fee (come up with your own amount before they make up a higher one) if that will appease them.

Good luck.

you can become a cocktali waitress in LA because im pretty sure they get big money
NAH MEAN Son
or you can get a part time job in the neighborhood for a lot of paper

Try going to the school in person to explain why you don't have a week to wait on your money; they may be able to hand-carry it through for you.
I can tell you what not to do. Don't waste your time or money on ANY of the online surveys or multi-level marketing [MLM] scams. There are even websites which claim to have "checked out all the money making sites" they then steer you into their scam! My wife spent months looking, she found nothing real. Besides, with an MLM after you鈥檝e called all of your friends & relatives, no doubt antagonizing a few, who do you, market to?
There are legitimate online jobs for interpreters, data-entry etc. but they normally hire through a regular agency, not just an online application, & usually you鈥檒l have to prove yourself before getting big jobs with serious money. After taking classes & getting certified, you can do medical transcriptions from home, again, though, you have to work up the income ladder. Some people, familiar with values of something like, Tin Toys or Carnival Glass, make money by buying locally then selling on Ebay. Don鈥檛 sign up for ANYTHING that asks for a credit card number to register!
Also don鈥檛 fall for the nearly free e-book "The 7 Greatest Lies of Network Marketing" it is just a come-on for the author鈥檚 $40. book; which has been described as, 鈥減ay me, to tell you about Commission Junction, so I can pay you to tell others to pay me to tell them about Commission Junction.鈥?You can check it out for free: http://www.cj.com/ unfortunately most people don鈥檛 do enough business to make money there.
