Is there a way to find out which companies use foreign call centres?

I want to know if there is a list anywhere that anyone is aware of.
Im thinking of starting my own little campaign to encourage people to boycott these companies . I understand the need to cut corners, but at whos expense?
We all know the cold calls can be a pain, and registering with the TPS often doesnt work.
Up till this week I was polite & said no in a nice way.
Then I got one of those "help with your finances" type calls.
I politely explained that as my partner is ill at the moment we are unable and unwilling to take a loan, we are in debt and cannot get insurance. The response floored me even though I am usually unshockable.
"Well, madam, if you take out a loan you can clear your debts or even cure him"
Apart from the usual assumption that my partner is male which she isnt, I was gobsmacked at the suggestion that her condition (cancer) could be cured by agreeing to a loan, having calmed down I wonder if Cancer Research know of this miracle.
If anyone knows of a list ....x

I do not think that you will find companies very eager to tell you if they use a foreign call centre. It is hardly a recommendation for them, the fact that they are putting U.K. staff out of work and then engaging foreign staff. I find it very difficult to understand the accent of Indians/Pakistanis, so now I don`t embarrass myself or them by trying, once I hear the accent, I apologise and end the conversation.

Phone the company!

I totally agree. It's so frustrating when people lose their jobs so big companies can relocate to make even more money.

I would definitely join your campaign!
