Can anyone recommend a good, genuine franchise opportunity, up to an investment value of about 25k.?

I am interested in obtaining a sound, genuine franchiase opportunity up to a value of 25k.
I am interested in any areas except computing or direct sales.
I am sick of looking into schemes that look ok but turn out to be rubbish. I realise there are no certainties but maybe there is a good one out there that someone has taken up and can now recomend.

You will have to investigate yourself, because I just heard of something today....a friend was talking about Coldstone Creamery (?)....franchises in maybe ice cream shops ?
He's pretty astute on these things and is going to be doing some on- line study ( if possible)
