My uncle- trader of home appliance needs a good website for promotion with no/min.investment. pls. suggest !?

He is a trader of home appliance - quality products with 1 yr warranty. He is fairly new to the website world , he needs to build on the distributor network or even willing to have direct online sales individually. Pls. help with good websites to promote his product further . He operates from New Delhi, India. Does anybody know the site : Indiamart.com. Would appreciate to have your response on the first hand experience with indiamart if any or about other sites into this promotion with bare minimum investment involved.

Well if he wants to go for B2B marketing, then i think indiamart.com is gud, but what i wud suggest is first go for free registration and see how many responses u recieve, many times it happens that u generate quite a lot of business in free registration. so thr isnt any need for paid membership and somtimes u end bieng paid member with no leads....

and u can also search on the internet for free portals like v hav bharattextiles.com for textiles, alibaba.com for chinese goods and so on...

if he want to go for online selling, directly to the end-user than according to me it will b bit difficult...what u can do at this moment is first register on all the webportals dealing in ur uncle products and then he can make a static html website having necessary information like contacts, products and so on, this will cost u very less, i guess 5k shud b sufficient (including domain name registration, space everything) and he can also print the website address on his visiting crads, tags and so on to promote his website... thats it as of now...
